A kickback on top will definitely seal the deal for the doctor to be devoted to one particular product. " FPG commented. Mass production and lower costs of the product doesn't mean that the product is better than a product made by a micro cap. There are laser companies, medical device companies and other technology companies out there that offer better products but are faced with a capital crunch. Large companies know that and that's how they are able to inflict damage. Take for example Lumenis, one large laser company, based in Israel,that was able to fiddle with Trimedyne ( TMED ), a micro cap headed by Chairman Marvin Loeb and his family. The company claims to have a better product but Lumenis was able to sell more as well as infringe on Trimedyne's fibers. Immagine that Loeb was a poor man. Trimedyne might not exist today. Instead, Loeb injected family money into the company and went after monster Lumenis. The conclusion was a early this year settlement of 2 million dollars for Trimedyne and royalties for the short term. Wall Street followed as the Dow closed above 12,000 with a near 500 point monster move. " This is a positive day for the markets that have been battered because of European woes , but caution is still in peoples mind as they may trade into these wild swings. " commented FPG. " It is my belief that these micro caps, after being pressured to very undervalued levels lately, will be able to shoot up quickly in the near term. The issue is finding the right one with the ingredients that will facilitate a comeback rally" added FPG. Back in December 2009 , a microcap named Implant Sciences (IMSC) traded at 3 cents. Today, it is trading at 70 cents wuth no reverse split. " You can be holding the next power micro cap in your portfolio and you may not even know. Frustration over good tiny microcaps can lead to an excessive negative performance of these equities before a monster recapture of valuation rally begins. "

RETAILERS COMEBACK AND EUROZONE HOPES SEND FUTURES HIGHER

Retailers did very well in post Thanksgiving sales and they are forecasted to be about 1 billion dollars more than last year. Black Friday or perhaps Black Thursday night for some stores has begun early for US retailers. Best Buy on Northern Boulevard in Woodside , Queens had between one thousand to two thousand early bird shoppers in the midnight hour early Friday morning. " The line of shoppers waiting outside was wrapped around the block. Hot items on sale were computers , flat screens and gaming equipment. " said Berlusconi Italia blogger FPG. Target in College Point had an almost full parking lot of cars. There were people on line but I was able to get in after 10 minutes. A security guard advised that the line was very long before the store opened at midnight. More than a thousand shoppers were at that location too. There were many items on sale. People snapping up flat screens , cleaning equipment , gaming items and towels. " I believe that people are coming out to buy hoping for a good deal and they are getting a lukewarm welcome from retailers. Deals are not that hot but good enough for bargain hunters " commented FPG. Police presence was evident as retailers try to prevent any stampede. Markets may signal some reversal in the negative trend of the past week once retailers begin to release their sales.

FPG SEES POTENTIAL FOR MAY 2011 ERRATIC RALLIES IN MICROCAPS(part 1)

A massive rally for micro caps is what speculative investors hope to have during their investment lifespan. That comes once a blue moon some experts may argue. Now, FPG indicates that something may be brewing in the microcap market. " There are different kinds of micro caps out there. Some are healthy ones trading at a discount, some are widely followed and are trading at a premium, some others may be doomed financially but have an exciting story. It becomes very difficult to understand these special situations especially when the stock is trading at a yearly or multi year bottom." FPG suggests that Spring 2011 may be similar to Spring 1996 and he is zooming on the month of May in particular
. As they say, May is known for Sell in May and go away. This was particularly true for May 1996. A monster rally for many micro caps took place between April and very early June of that year. Diagnostic Sciences, symbol DSIC, severely destroyed by Hurricane Andrew, began its recovery with insurance proceeds and aquisition of Norton Drilling in Lubbock Texas. By the spring of 1996, the company was earning nearly a penny a share on a quarterly basis but shares were deadlock between 3/32 and 5/32. " The stock was in a pitiful situation as the numbers coming in were looking good. I could see the bottom on the price but no incentives for a rally. Then, out of the blue, I believe it was on May 17th or around that date, the shares catapulted to one dollar on heavy volume. I remember that even a trader named Mike P., was shocked with the situation at the trading desk of a now defunct brokerage firm. It turned to be a reccomendation of a midwest analyst that sparked rally." Shares of DSIC peaked at the dollar level in May but returned to below 3/8 during the summer and bottomed somewhere between 5/32 and 9/32 commented FPG. May already had seen other microcap stocks making moves. Imatron, mother of later on spinned off Invision Technologies, moved from near 2.00 and was aiming for a homerun quadruple for the memorial day weekend. Those 2 companies were eventually taken over by General Electric. Shares of Imatron retrieved during the summer. " In May 2011 we see a potential for rallies across the sector. They may be sporadic and erratic but could occur in concert." Depending on peoples levels of risk, these rallies could be shocking to many. You are caught in a stock that goes from a low valuation and practically very low volume to a supersonic situation that sends out shockwaves to your brain. What is one person to do if this occurs? " It is very challenging even for the professionals. The reaction for many is to sell and take a profit. Of course,greed kicks in and you find yourself chasing the stock. These are various but the main one I think is trust and reliability of management. The rallies in penny stocks could be rewarding to a few but could be a loss to many others. Depending on your risk tolerance and access to capital, you may be able to play the game of football in the markets but be warned of the severe consequences if things don't pan out. Maybe with football fans betting hundreds of dollars is hit or miss, with penny stocks is credibility in the company and loss without knowing why. Selling at the market could be the way to go on the Big Board but not on the smaller exchanges says FPG. This has been something that has puzzled me for a while after reviewing various trades early in the morning and just at the opening bell. Market makers tend to come in after 9:30 am, sometimes at 9:31, 9:32 or later. That means that the spread could be huge at 9:30. If you happen to be there at the market order, then you can be whipped with a well below the market price on your sell order. This could be valid also on your purchase order. So I suggest to put a limit order in to be on the safe side but also monitor the equity price in case of sudden changes.
