IMPLANT SCIENCES DEFIES THE ODDS, GETS LUCKY BREAK

*CHRISTMAS DAY PASSENGER IGNITES RALLY IN SCANNER COMPANIES
*IMPLANT'S DEBT PROBLEM TAKES IT DOWN TO A FEW PENNIES AHEAD OF THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
Astoria, New York
A black night in the sky and perhaps the hope of a white knight on a white horse has sent ripple effects on a small capitalized company that sells the quantum sniffer. This mobile equipment can sniff you out just like a police dog does.
After a little jolt on Monday, and a pullback on Tuesday, IMSC soared on Wednesday on heavy trading. Shares closed with a whopping 450 pct gain at 33 cents, after knocking at 40 earlier in the day. An alert watch has been issued. A review for any developing stories regarding the capital structure of this company, as well as any other developments regarding scanners at airports and beyond, is necessary to go forward.

ASB, CONFIRMED FOR ALERT LIST

*COMPANY HAS INTERESTING MEDICAL PRODUCTS
*FOCUS IS ON ANY PARTNERSHIP POTENTIAL
Astoria, New York
AdvanSource Biomaterials (ASB) has been confirmed on the alert list. Shares are trading in the mid 20 cent range as of Friday, more than 100 pct from its all time low of 11 cents earlier this year. They have peaked in the 40 cent area twice in the last 12 months. ASB is a medical biomaterial company. It focuses on products for the heart such as artificial coronary grafts ( stents thru Cornova, a partially owned company ) and orthopedic devices. It has recently announced a deal with an international orthopedic medical device company. The focus will be on the belief that more deals or partnership events could trigger some kind of re-evaluation of this company. It is suggested to do more due diligence and review previous news on this company.

ELECTRONIC SECURITY GETS 1.5 MILLION IN NUCLEAR FACILITIES SECURITY AWARDS

Astoria, New York
Electronic Security ( EKCS ) has gotten awards for the second consecutive week. Last week it received awards for nuclear facilities security upgrades amounting to 1.5 million. To end the week, a 10Q filing stated that profit margins soared to 72.9 percent, probably the highest ever seen for this company in any single quarter. EKCS's revenues declined though. The company also achieved a net profit from operations but lost nearly almost 1/2 penny or (nil) after interest depreciation and taxes. The previous week, Electronic Control Security received a subcontract from Lockheed Martin that could amount to more than 1 million per year for the next 3 years. Please review for additional info in its filings.

THE FRANK SINATRA ROLL OF DIMES PORTFOLIO

*BOTTOM FISHERS LOOK FOR DIMES RATHER THAN PENNIES
*ALL ALERTS ON GVSS HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED AFTER TENDER OFFER FOR 38 CENTS
Astoria, New York
A portfolio of dimes looks better than a portfolio of pennies and are considered better portfolios. A stock that reaches a penny is in danger of disappearing. Rarely, a stock trading at a penny returns to 20 cents. A stock that did that was Neomagic (NMGC). Neomagic hit 0.3 of a penny earlier this year and jumped to as high as a quarter earlier this month. But it's rare. A stock that hits the dime area and bottoms around there, has a better chance for a comeback. Of course all stocks that trade for a few cents are very risky even though some are in better shape than others. It's all about the company, its industry, its management and its capital structure. A company that has debt is usually in worst shape than another that has no debt. Last month, GVI Security has received a buyout offer for 38 cents in cash and a tender offer for all shares has commenced. The company is expected to go private and things could change if a superior bidder steps in. All alerts on GVSS have been discontinued due to this.

THE TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR 10 MICRO CAP AT A DIME EACH PORTFOLIO

* 10,000 DOLLAR MICRO CAP PORTFOLIO WITH STYLE FOR FOCUSING ON DIME STOCKS THAT HAVE HIDDEN VALUES
Waldorf Astoria, New York
Here at the Waldorf on Park Avenue, sitting in the main entrance lounge near the piano with a lap top and looking at people entering and exiting the luxurious hotel. I would say that most of the people staying here have either penny stocks or real estate. Why? Because you need lots of money to stay here just one night. You are lucky if you get away with 600.00 dollars after all is set and done with your payments for the day. And the hotel was at full capacity on Sunday Sep 6th as it was told to me by a service representative that I befriended. I wouldn't pay that money if I had to stay in an hotel. But here, many institutional and accredited investors walk through those doors each day and I am sure of it. The Waldforf is known for hosting many investment seminars and corporate events and it is a place for meeting many of the rich and political people from all over the world. As I said before, I would not want to spend that money but I will one day if I can realize my theory of the 10 dime stocks for a total purchase price of just $10,000.oo.
The theory simply states that within a period of time, a sophisticated investor should try to follow many stocks trading below a dollar, and after careful selection, the investor should reduce the amount to about twenty stocks. Remember that stocks have an high for the year and a low for the year but sometimes that low becomes too low and this will raise an eyebrow. Instead of falling in love with a stock, one has to fall in love with how much value can the stock have at a certain price. This has to be done with very strict financial calculations. Also, look at the management story of each stock and look for founders that can survive. And watch out for debt trap stories. In the 10 dime 10 thousand portfolio you may have stronger fundamental companies mixed in with some stronger story companies with a niche product. The combination and diversification approach could give you better results for success. Now you may ask me what is 10,000 these days if you are an accredited investor. It is probably money for gambling at a casino for them. I suggest that the 10,000 is the basic amount for starter accredited investors who don't believe in micro cap value stocks. In a new blog, I will discuss further.

DVLN CONTINUES TO SHOW PROFITS, SHARES PUT ON ALERT FOCUS LIST

*DVL INC IS A COMMERCIAL REALTY & PARTNERSHIP COMPANY
*BOOK VALUE TO CONTINUES TO GROW, STOCK TRADING EASY AT 1/4 OF ITS VALUATION, BUT CAREFUL MONITORING OF DEBT MUST BE TAKEN ON CONSIDERATION
*COMPANY HAS ACQUIRED SHARES LATELY
*DVL OWNS PROPERTY THAT COULD BECOME PART OF SHOPPING MALL IN KEARNY
*COMPANY CONTINUES TO SHOW PROFITS IN MIDST OF REAL ESTATE COLLAPSE
Astoria, New York
Dvl Inc (DVLN) could be considered a solution for accredited & institutional investors looking for dime stocks. The theory for micro cap investors is to look for a bunch of cheap stocks with good valuations, book value, hopefully profitable and good management. Maybe if anyone is lucky enough to have a chance to pick up 10 good stocks within a short amount of time at a dime each, then you could be doing some good deed to your microcap portfolio. Tmed shares were trading at below a dime back in the winter, now they are trading in the mid 30 cent range as of Friday. The 10 dime stock $10,000 outlay theory will be discussed in a new blog.

NEW TARGET PRICE ESTABLISHED FOR GVSS ( GVI SECURITY ) USING " CONE OF PROBABILITY " RULE

* GVSS 9 MONTH MEDIAN TARGET SET TO 90 CENTS
* GVSS 12 MONTH MEDIAN TARGET SET TO $1.10
Astoria, New York
GVSS's median price is expected to reach the $1.00 range by next summer with an oscillating cone of probability of 50 percent. The degree of risk is relatively high but on the 12 month target, it is expected, in the worst case scenario, that GVSS will be at 55 cents ( a 23 cent increase from Friday's close), but in the best case scenario it is forecasted to reach $ 1.65 or about $ 1.32 profit from 32.1 cents. This is first time that the cone of probability rule has been used. The rule is similar in ways to how hurricane paths are forecasted. Deviations could occur pending sizeable events. At the current pace, Samsung superiority in screen panels combined with cameras and GVI branded products are continuing to support the company's growth and profitability. Recessionary pressures have continued to plague the markets in the last few months as a recovery has been slow, but steady need for security equipment has helped GVI Security maintain profitability. Book value is expected to double up to the 30 cents area in 2010. Any financing deal or corporate event could have a negative or positive effect and therefore alter the forecasted outcome. Please read the disclosures on this blog regarding risks.

GVSS REACHES TARGET PRICE OF 45 CENTS IN A DAY RALLY ON NORTHEAST CHAIN NEWS

*GVI-SAMSUNG CAMERAS AND MONITORS TO BE INSTALLED AT LARGE NORTHEAST SUPERMARKET CHAIN
*STOCK SOARS ON NEWS ON JULY 1st SENDING PRICE TO A NEW 2009 PEAK, A NEW TARGET TO BE REVIEWED
Astoria, New York
Today is July 4th but GVSS has seen fireworks activity this past Wednesday and shares have hit a targeted price of 45 cents since its initial coverage at 25 cents,
for an 80 pct move. The price target was a conservative one as it was extended after the first quarter report showed a smaller profit. A new review of the target will be done in the coming days. Shares have fallen back since the peak, to close at a more solid 33 cents on Thursday.( please review WWW.OTCBB.COM for more specifics). The news on July 1st was extremely bullish since the supermarket chain has more than 200 locations. This becomes a significant multiplier effect for those cameras and LCDs. Just back in June, the company had announced a deal with a large New Jersey city for cameras and video equipment to service police and fire departments monitoring. Any additional deals in the new future could be seen as a bullish sign.

MICROCAPSTOCK.BLOGSPOT MAINTAINS 45 CENT RATING ON GVSS BUT EXTENDS FORECAST TO 6 MONTHS

*LAST FINANCIALS SHOWED SMALLER PROFIT ON LOWER REVENUES
*SAMSUNG-GVI RELATIONSHIP COULD BE KEY TO FUTURE SUCCESS

Astoria, New York Monday May 25 Memorial Day
After a late filing on Friday, the company stated that they have a purchased 900,000 shares of its stock for a price of 25 cents from a large shareholder. The large shareholder has also agreed not to sell any additional shares for a period of six months in a lock-up agreement. Target price of 45 cents remains but any market spurt could cause the price to go even higher. The 6 month period will officially end by mid Novemeber. The target price could be changed given any other news from the company or the markets.

MARKET CONDITIONS AND TECHNICALS ON OVERSOLD STOCKS FAVOR SPRING FLING 2009

* OVERSOLD STOCKS HAVE AND CONTINUE TO PERFORM WELL
* ILLIQUID POSITIVE MICRO CAPS COULD PRODUCE MULTI BAGGER RETURNS
Astoria, New York
Spring Fling 2009, as initially predicted by the real economist at
http://www.therealeconomist.blogspot.com/ and later confirmed here by microcapstock.blogspot, is showing some good results. This is happening after a disastrous winter that in a way has wiped out in a way never seen before the values of investors' portfolios. With Obama's plan at work, there has a been sense of relief as many investors have returned to the markets by buying and trading on some cheap financials such as Citigroup (C) and Allied Irish Banks (AIB). Shares of Citigroup have quadrupled since its all time low just under one dollar per share. But the real economist is concerned with higher inflation, fueled by fiscal stimulus, printing of money and incentives to buy. " We have never seen a perfect market economy with true capitalism at work in the right way. The reason is due greed and fear as well as government intervention. Therefore we must rely on some kind of social capitalistic structure that could be ready to act where there is weakness and that is what we are getting from the Obama administration" said the real economist. In the meantime, some microcaps are showing signs of recovery, and some others are ready to explode in coming weeks thanks to a Spring Fling scenario that should last until summer arrives. " I am afraid that we will be oversprung by July and this will cause markets to stablilze and perhaps underperform during the summer months. I will discuss this scenario at a later date" finalized the real economist. In the meantime shares of GVSS have remained below 30 cents, ahead of earnings release and conference call on May 14th. There is speculative rating on the stock with a short term conservative specualtive buy rating and a target price of 45 cents. There will be evaluations on other micro stocks this week and there will be discussions on general reasons for rallies of micro caps. Micro caps are intended for professionals and accredited investors due to various reasons. Please read the full disclosures on this web blogspot.

SPRING FLING 2009: ASB DOUBLES UP IN 2 WEEKS

* COMPANY MAKES SPECIALIZED STENTS AND ARTIFICIAL VEINS
* SHARES HAVE HIT ALL TIME LOW OF 11 CENTS IN 1ST QUARTER 09
Astoria, New York
Shares of ASB have been put on the alert list by microcapstock.blogspot.com after Friday's 12 cent gain. The stock closed at 34 cents in moderate trading of almost 32,000 shares. It had volume of more than 163,000 the previous day. " Something is clearly going on , and more evaluation needs to be done". The stock has tripled since the all time low of 11 cents and that was a good price for short term bottom fishers. ASB ( AdvanSource Biomaterials Corp) is a medical technology company. The real economist (www.realeconomist.blogspot.com) announced last month that spring rallies on micro caps were possible. In other news, the bulls pushed the Dow above 8,000 again after a late week rally. The battle for Dow 8000 has raged for about 5 weeks.

AT MICROCAPSTOCK.BLOGSPOT, A SPECULATIVE BUY RATING ON GVSS, 4 MONTH CONSERVATIVE TARGET OF 45 CENTS

* SHARES HAVE GONE THROUGH CONSOLIDATION IN THE 20 CENT RANGE
* SEES MORE THAN 50 PERCENT INCREASE IN VALUE IN NEXT 4 MONTHS
Astoria, New York
Shares of GVSS were put on a Speculative Buy List after a closing price of 25 cents on Friday. An announced buyback, back in December, could be implemented or has been implemented as shares have consolidated in the 19-30 cent range the in last 3 months. There are at least 28 million shares outstanding ( this could be one of the issues holding back the stock ) and 5 million plus options exercisable from 20 cents and up. In the last reporting 12 months, the company announced about 47 million in sales and more than 1 million in net profits. This satisfied Wells Fargo requirement for a 50 bassis point lowering of the credit line interest rate. Recently, a large investor has increased his position to more than 12 percent of the outstanding shares. The buy rating will be in effect until the stock reaches 30 cents. At above that price, it will automatically change to Attractive. Please read the full disclosure on this web blogspot site and news regarding this company. Please consult with your investment adviser.

SPRING FLING 2009: THE REAL ECONOMIST SEES POTENTIAL RALLY FOR MICRO CAPS

* TECHNICALS SHOW POSSIBILITY FOR SIGNIFICANT RALLIES IN SOME MICRO CAPS
Many micro caps have suffered from the global recession. Some more than others. Some have continued to show a profit in the midst of it. With GVSS, as an example, I am sure that some other micro caps could be found that have shown resistance to these bad times. They could be simple companies that have conservative management and that don't have creative financing.
Why a spring fling in 2009? The markets have tumbled significantly in the last 6 months. People have panicked and they unloaded their positions. Some companies have been wiped out. But some, even though they have been oversold, are lurking for potential action. In the case of GVSS, its initial investor has declared that he has increased his overall position in the company from less than 10 percent to more than 12 percent. The market liked the news better than other press releases of the last two weeks. I personally like to see profits and increasing book value because that is the signal that something or somebody could make the stock move in the positive direction. I am also against creative financing. I rather see the serious banks getting involved with credit lines. This spring is positioning itself in similarity to the spring of 1996. Back in 1996, we had mega rallies for many micro caps. We had significant moves in a short amount of time.

MICRO CAPS HUNTING: SINGLE, DOUBLE OR TRIPLE BOTTOM

* PROFESSIONAL BOTTOM FISHERS STUDY CHARTS BEFORE BUYING
A Bottom Fisher is an investor who looks for bargains in the market. In the stock market, he/she is looking at companies whose prices have recently dropped dramatically. The bottom fisher believes that the price drop is temporary. The price drop could have been caused by an overreaction to recent bad news or because a big seller wants to be out of his position in a short amount of time. The belief is that the stock will fly on the way up. A bottom fisher wants to dig on stocks that have become undervalued simply because of some kind of market miscalculation. Bottom fishers come out in bear markets because a flurry of stocks are getting whipped as investors panic. When people panic, they will sell anything, even something good. Irrational thinking affects many investors during periods of crisis. One favorite tool used by professional bottom fishers is the use of stock charts. Of course fundamental analysis is important too but identifying a bottom is the stock charters' job. In a quick drop, we have a single drop with that triangular bottom. In a prolonged drop, then the double and triple bottoms are more indicative for a substantial support level for a stock. The triple bottom shows that the longer term support may justify that the stock doesn't want to drop below that particular level. Therefore, a rally is possible. If fundamentals, management, industry favoritism and company growth potential are working together, then you may have a real winner.
